After the development of three large-scale companies in Albert Lea’s south industrial park in the last five years — plus the possibility of a fourth in the next year — economic development officials are looking to expand shovel-ready industrial park space available to developers in the city.
I’m not sure how your conversations go, but when I’m chatting with friends and family, the topic can change several times in the course of a few minutes.
All in all though, I ask the community to remember that while grant writing has been successful for us, local community donations is what drives the Community Impact Grants and enables us to allocate dollars to agencies.
